When God Doesn’t Fix It: Learning to Walk in God’s Plans Instead of Our Own by Laura Story.
Here is a brief introduction provided by the company: “Laura Story’s life took an unexpected turn when her husband, Martin, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The news brought Laura’s dreams of a fairy-tale life to an end. Yet, it also brought her a deeper intimacy with God as she turned to him and allowed him to rewrite her story. In this five-session curriculum, Laura shows that while God may not fix every broken thing in our lives, He will lead us to a place where we are better because of it.”
We will meet in Fellowship Hall of the Grimes Presbyterian Church at 410 S. Third St. on Thursday evenings at 6:30 beginning April 25th through May 23rd and plan to be finished in an hour to an hour and a half each session. Hope many of you will join us! (If you wish to purchase the study guide it is available on Amazon. Also, you don’t have to have read the novel or to have the study guide to participate.)
