Deacon’s Corner

Fall Greetings,
The colors of fall and the delightful days are truly some
of God and Mother Nature’s finest work! As our
Thanksgiving Holiday approaches I have a question?
“God gave us a gift of 86,400 seconds today, Have you
used one to say “Thank You?” “William A. Ward.” We
have had a busy month, making 5 home visits, 5 hospice
visits, and 5 nursing home visits. We attended a
visitation and funeral, and provided transportation
twice. We wished Irene Wheeler, Roger Stark and Jerry
Crow “Happy Birthday’”. We delivered a prayer quilt to
Dean Ellis and a prayer shawl to Eilleen Crosby. Thank
you to Joyce, Mary Lou, and Nancy for making these
“Very special quilts and shawls”. And finally, we had our
service at Kennybrook. Gratitude makes sense of our
past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for
tomorrow. “Melody Beatle”.
Thanksgiving Blessings,

Your Deacons
